  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move may not be eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

2. Equipment Rental and Purchase

  • In preparation for your move, we may need to rent or purchase specific equipment to ensure the safe and efficient transport of your belongings.
  • If we have already incurred expenses for the rental or purchase of equipment for your move, these costs may be non-refundable. In such cases, a portion of your deposit may be retained to cover these expenses.
  • We will provide a detailed breakdown of any such costs deducted from your refund, should this situation arise.

3. Processing Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Please allow a standard processing time of 5-7 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.

4. Rescheduling

  • If you need to reschedule your move, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date and time, subject to availability.
  • Rescheduling your move does not automatically incur additional costs, unless it involves new or additional services, or falls within the 48-hour window prior to the scheduled move.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur. Friends and Family Movers will consider exceptional cases for refunds on a case-by-case basis.
